Press releases > PENSRUS PENS Joins Up With AMC Music Festival 2013 to Raise Funds as Well as Awareness for Families Suffering From Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Mar 27, 2013) - AMC Music Festival chairwoman Valerie Pepe interviewed with CTV on Staten Island, New York cable network April 9 and spoke about the upcoming 3rd annual AMC Music Festival, which is slated to kick off on June 1, 2013 at the Killmeyer's Old Bavaria Inn on Staten Island.
Pepe has expressed her gratitude for the involvement and contributions made by PENSRUS PENS over the years, stating that she was thrilled with the generosity of Henry Morgan and his promotional pens and products company. PENSRUS PENS, a proud member of the Better Business Bureau, has contributed generously in past festivals, and she is excited about the company's gratuitous involvement this year, stating that promotional products that are branded with the AMC Music Festival logo and message have really helped tremendously in raising awareness, boosting contributions and garnering involvement.
This year PENSRUS PENS, a proud member of the Better Business Bureau, will donate the custom tote bags, pens and Original Koozie Can Koolers that lucky event attendees will be gifted with upon arrival. Of the generosity of PENSRUS, Pepe said, "This year we are looking to reach more people and increase the awareness of AMC. I believe that in collaboration with PENSRUS, the goal to reach $10,000 is attainable."
ARTHROGRYPOSIS MULTIPLEX CONGENITA (AMC) is rare, occurring in 1 out of every 3,000 live births. AMC describes the presence of multiple congenital contractures of the joints and bones. So far, no prenatal diagnostic tools are available to test for the condition. Pepe herself is one of the few cases in the state of New York and has worked tirelessly to raise awareness and help others to contend with this difficult condition.
Featuring a full afternoon of live music and fun, event attendees are gearing up to enjoy entertainment from some of New York's most well known local bands and artists, including Robert Mira who is coming in from Atlantic City just for the occasion. All proceeds from the benefit will go to AMCSI (AMCSupport.org) and Shriner's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.
