Press releases > PENSRUS PENS Expands Its Commitment to Philanthropic Activities
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 10, 2013) - With donations to various organizations such as the AMC Music Festival, as well as breast cancer awareness, the local YMCA and Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy victims, PENSRUS PENS of New York, NY is fast becoming well known as the city of New York's most charitable promotional products company.
When the PENSRUS PENS promotional products company of New York opened its doors in 2001, its Owner Henry Morgan had a dream, not only to become the "go to" company for businesses and organizations that wished to promote their products, services and messages to the fullest extent, but also to be of service to those in need.
Following in the footsteps of great entrepreneurs, thought leaders and philanthropists such as Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and Napoleon Hill, Morgan knew from the beginning that to achieve great success in business, as well as in life, one must be of service and give as much, if not more, than one gets.
Early donation efforts by PENSRUS PENS went to the YMCA of New York, where PENSRUS PENS donated customized pens; further efforts later on also included pens and were extended to the Charity for Family of Veterans in "An Evening of Honor." Of late, PENSRUS PENS has become a huge benefactor, and some could even say partner, in leading efforts by Valerie Pepe's AMC Music Festival to raise funds, and awareness, along with educational efforts around the rare congenital disease Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC).
The next big event, of which PENSRUS PENS is a huge benefactor, is the upcoming AMC Music Festival 2013, slated for June 1 in Staten Island, NY at the Killmeyer's Old Bavaria Inn. Festivities are scheduled to start at 3:00pm and happy festival attendees will enjoy a full afternoon of great music from some of New York's best local bands including Robert Mira, who is flying in just for the occasion. Tickets for the AMC Music Fest 2013 can be purchased online or at the gate for $25 and concert goers will receive a gift tote bag donated by PENSRUS with fun memorabilia such as pens and Original Koozie can Koolers.
